"From who?"
The O.C.
"Oh, my God, you guys planned this, didn't you?"
The O.C.
"Look, we just... We didn't want you to do something you might regret."
The O.C.
"- It's not like that. - I thought I could talk to you."
The O.C.
"- I thought you were on my side. - I'm on your side. Trust me."
The O.C.
"Just leave me alone."
The O.C.
"Well, not from anymore. At. He's working there now."
The O.C.
"- He seems interested in Cal. - As long as you don't pressure him."
The O.C.
"A nudge. A father's allowed to nudge."
The O.C.
"- You wouldn't dare. - Try me."
The O.C.
"Cardio Barre is crawling with Newpsies. How bored are you?"
The O.C.
"I thought I'd go because Julie loves it."
The O.C.
"- She's keeping something from me. - When it comes to Julie..."
The O.C.
"...sometimes it's better not knowing. - Yeah."
The O.C.
"Yes. Yeah. Whatever. Let's go."
The O.C.
"- You look very sporty. - Thank you."
The O.C.
"She accused me and Johnny of ganging up on her."
The O.C.
"- Oh, so it went well. - I don't know. I guess it's to be expected."
The O.C.
"Okay, but why focus on the negative?"
The O.C.
"This is a cause for celebration. We get to finally leave Newport."
The O.C.
"Grow old playing golf, chatting about the NASDAQ?"
The O.C.
"Name one thing about Newport that isn't evil."
The O.C.
"Tell my parents I love them."
The O.C.
"You know, I realized after, you're probably just trying to help."
The O.C.
"I made an appointment with the college counselor."
The O.C.
"- All right, you did? - I mean, I can't promise anything..."
The O.C.
"These are our college lists. Do you see a difference?"
The O.C.
"Yeah, the font. Looks like you went with the Times New Roman."
The O.C.
"The schools, doofus. None of them are the same."
The O.C.
"I was up all last night thinking about that."
The O.C.
"You were?"
The O.C.
"You haven't even given this a second thought, have you?"
The O.C.
"- Summer, wait a second. - No. Too late, Cohen."
The O.C.
"Julie, you're leaving us already?"
The O.C.
"Well, you know, I was only staying here temporarily."
The O.C.
"I'm renovating my place in Balboa Estates."
The O.C.
"- Couldn't stand the racket. - You live in the Balboa Estates..."
The O.C.
"...and you drive your own U-Haul? - I'm just keeping it real."
The O.C.
"Well, gotta go. See you around."
The O.C.
"Three-F."
The O.C.
"I wanted to read up on a school. Brown."
The O.C.
"Here you go."
The O.C.
"This is just what we were looking for. Thank you, Taylor."
The O.C.
"You have the grades. Lots of activities. My guess is you'll be fine."
The O.C.
"I'm sorry, Marissa. I'm a little confused."
The O.C.
"What are we doing here?"
The O.C.
"Does this have anything to do with what happened to you over the summer?"
The O.C.
"You will have to say why you were expelled."
The O.C.
"But if it means getting into college, it seems like a small price to pay."
The O.C.
"And, you know, if I had to dredge it up again..."
The O.C.
"...I don't know if I could handle it. - I get it."
The O.C.
"But if you want my advice..."
The O.C.
"- See what comes out. - That's exactly what I don't wanna do."
The O.C.
"So before you let it ruin your future..."
The O.C.
"...you might try learning to live with it."
The O.C.
"- I ain't no bellman, lady. - How charming."
The O.C.
"I'm Gus. Welcome to the Taj Mahal."
The O.C.
"- I can't believe I'm back here. - You've lived here before?"
The O.C.
"I'm speaking figuratively."
The O.C.
"Everyone's here. Perfect."
The O.C.
"It's dinner. They have to eat."
The O.C.
"- Hey, what are you guys doing here? - PacWest Surf Contest."
The O.C.
"- Today's the day, remember? - Oh, you know, that's okay."
The O.C.
"- I don't wanna be a downer. - Why, what's up?"
The O.C.
"I tried to write this essay for school..."
The O.C.
"If I can't write the essay, you know, I may as well forget about college."
The O.C.
"- What? - It's not a bad idea."
The O.C.
"Travel the world, give yourself some time to think."
The O.C.
"- Are you serious? - Look..."
The O.C.
"Why not do it in Fiji?"
The O.C.
"Just come to the contest today, see what you think."
The O.C.
"Was that Johnny and Dogboy downstairs?"
The O.C.
"Yeah, Johnny's got this big surf contest today."
The O.C.
"I'm gonna go support him."
The O.C.
"Just be gentle with it."
The O.C.
"What are you talking about?"
The O.C.
"- Hey, Julie. Glad you were free. - Well, I can't stay long."
The O.C.
"It's such a hassle, but the new place, it's beautiful."
The O.C.
"Well, then I'll get right to it."
The O.C.
"- What? - Well, think about it."
The O.C.
"The magazine, the fundraiser."
The O.C.
"I'm sorry. I followed you yesterday."
The O.C.
"It's not charity."
The O.C.
"I'm going crazy doing nothing. I need this."
The O.C.
"Well..."
The O.C.
"Just one thing. If we're partners, I need to know what happened to Charlotte."
The O.C.
"Oh, God, she didn't relapse, did she?"
The O.C.
"No, she couldn't, because she's not an alcoholic."
The O.C.
"Oh, Kirsten, I never wanted to tell you this."
The O.C.
"Charlotte went to rehab to find..."
The O.C.
"...a rich, vulnerable woman she could exploit."
The O.C.
"She's a con artist. I'm so sorry."
The O.C.
"She was planning on taking that money with her..."
The O.C.
"Kirsten, let me explain."
The O.C.
"- What is it, Cohen? - We need to talk."
The O.C.
"I brought visual aids."
The O.C.
"Boarding-school stuff?"
The O.C.
"My entire life, I have wanted to get as far away from Newport as possible..."
The O.C.
"...and the only reason I didn't is because..."
The O.C.
"...Ryan came and you started talking to me..."
The O.C.
"What's your plan for us? E-mails? Phone calls?"
The O.C.
"Or you could come with me."
The O.C.
"No. You've always wanted to go east."
The O.C.
"But what? My dreams are not as important as yours?"
The O.C.
"Summer, I'm trying to make this work. I feel like you're just writing us off."
The O.C.
"Not yet anyway."
The O.C.
"What does that mean?"
The O.C.
"We're about to start the competition. And the first surfer in the water..."
The O.C.
"- It all rides on today. - Way to take the pressure off, man."
The O.C.
"Just hanging out on the beach, watching Johnny surf?"
The O.C.
"That and scoring hot foreign babes."
The O.C.
"Great."
The O.C.
"They think they can get you a job as a label rep for the tour."
The O.C.
"You would think that we could deal with next year..."
The O.C.
"Yeah. Marissa and I have some of that too."
The O.C.
"No, I was on my way to see if she wanted to grab lunch. Why?"
The O.C.
"Have a seat. I don't wanna tell you this standing up."
The O.C.
"I wanna talk about next year."
The O.C.
"...is frankly none of your business."
The O.C.
"And if some of those schools happen to cross with Seth's, well..."
The O.C.
