"Be happy. You did it, Paige. Your article forced the mayor to resign."

"- I think we should celebrate. - Nope. Something's off."

"Why did he say enjoy the "new" New York? What did he mean by that?"

"You're reading too much into this."

"Whitebottom said he was resigning at the end of the day"

"after he closes out some "final bits of business.""

"So what? You think he's gonna sneak in selling Central Park on his last day?"

"It's funny, I wasn't worried about it until now when I said it,"

"and it felt so bad in my mouth."

"Yeah. Since he's resigning, he doesn't have to worry about reelection,"

"so he can do any shady deal he wants on the way out."

"Now all this dirt I got was for nothing."

"I worked so hard on this story. So many late nights. So few showers."

"Paige, I know things don't look good,"

"but there's no way the mayor's gonna sell the park today."

"I mean, it's not like Bitsy suddenly came up with a bajillion dollars."

"Bitsy totally came up with a bajillion dollars."

"I mean, not a bajillion, 'cause that's not real."

"But once Swiss billionaire Ernst Von Gunten was on board,"

"Bitsy's rival hotelier Dory Sterling"

"and her coalition of other rich investors came crawling."

"What does it mean? [clears throat] That's not a rhetorical question."

"Is the park actually gonna get sold to Bitsy?"

"What would happen to the Tillermans? Why am I losing the plot?"

"[yells] And why didn't I know that was coming?"

"Helen, watch where you're going. You almost hit that moose."

"I can't believe Jarvis couldn't make it in to drive me today"

"because of a light dusting of snow. What a wimp."

"I wouldn't call this a light dusting. The roads are pretty slick."

"Should we get you to City Hall to meet with the mayor"

"before they completely freeze?"

"No, I want to finish driving through the park"

"to see how dumb it is one last time before I make it cool."

"My deal to buy this dump is finally going through,"

"and I need to take inventory."

"I'm going to dynamite that tree. I'm gonna dynamite that tree."

"- You getting all this, Helen? - Yep."

"It was all so simple. All Whitebottom had to do was resign."

"And now his reputation doesn't mean diddly-squat,"

"so he finally has the trouser marbles"

"to do something as unpopular as selling me the park. [laughs]"

"Oh, my God. Is that what happiness feels like?"

"Did you ever find out who else is in Dory Sterling's coalition?"

"Helen, here's your nose. I found it in my business."

"It doesn't matter! I just want their money!"

"[grunts] It's almost as if we shouldn't have wasted time gloating in a blizzard."

"If the park gets sold, it doesn't need someone to tell its story."

"So it's not my missing violin that's screwing up my narrating."
