Clips from Dallas - The Lesson (S01E01)
"Why? You really wanna go out with me?"
Dallas
"Maybe after the football game."
Dallas
"- Football game, really? - What about a drive-in?"
Dallas
"Hi, Lucy."
Dallas
"- Only math, huh? That's pretty good. - What?"
Dallas
"Well, math's the only subject you're having trouble in."
Dallas
"I overheard your conversation with Miller just now."
Dallas
"I'm the president of the Letter Club."
Dallas
"Our office is right next to Miller's."
Dallas
"The Letter Club provides services."
Dallas
"We're good at everything."
Dallas
"- We tutor math, biology... - I bet you're a whiz at sex education."
Dallas
"Say, you've got a terrific sense of humor, you know that?"
Dallas
"Different, but terrific."
Dallas
"So with your sense of humor and my talent in math..."
Dallas
"Well, anyway, it's good to see you back in school."
Dallas
"Sorry I'm late."
Dallas
"- Hi, I'm Roger Hurley. - Pamela Ewing."
Dallas
"You're surely not Lucy's mom?"
Dallas
"Surely not. Her aunt."
Dallas
"Well, you take care now."
Dallas
"Bye."
Dallas
"He seemed like a real nice boy."
Dallas
"He's nice-looking anyway."
Dallas
"That creep? I can't stand him."
Dallas
"It wouldn't hurt you to date a boy your own age for a change."
Dallas
"Date?"
Dallas
"Bought you some new school clothes today."
Dallas
"I think you'll like them. Why don't you look in the pink box?"
Dallas
"Oh, Raul, take this upstairs."
Dallas
"I'll be back in a little while and I'll help you with alterations."
Dallas
"- Ms. Ewing. - Hi."
Dallas
"Hal, would you excuse us for a minute, please?"
Dallas
"Yeah, I'll take it."
Dallas
"I'm real calm so you know I mean it."
Dallas
"If you and Lucy are together again, I'm going to tell my husband, J.R. And Jock."
Dallas
"You told me yourself you know what they'll do."
Dallas
"Yeah. Kill me."
Dallas
"Jock and J.R. Would, anyhow."
Dallas
"Without batting an eye."
Dallas
"Then we understand each other."
Dallas
"You taking up social work, Pammy?"
Dallas
"Or don't you like the idea of your old boyfriend running around with Lucy?"
Dallas
"Never mind that now."
Dallas
"Just be sure to do your part."
Dallas
"Stay away from Lucy."
Dallas
"Bobby, are you through with this?"
Dallas
"I don't know. What is it?"
Dallas
"- Lone Star Oil Men Association minutes. - No, no, no."
Dallas
"I gotta talk to J.R. About that."
Dallas
"J.R. Left, Bobby."
Dallas
"- He what? - He went with Sue Ellen."
Dallas
"They're staying in town tonight. He said for you to take his car."
Dallas
"Oh, he knew I wanted to talk to him about this..."
Dallas
"That wasn't so difficult, was it?"
Dallas
"Okay."
Dallas
"Good. You know, you're not half bad at this."
Dallas
"Is Mrs. Ewing picking you up today?"
Dallas
"- Yes. - Well, you can wait here if you like."
Dallas
"Okay. If we don't have to talk."
Dallas
"Sure."
Dallas
"Help! Stop it! Stop!"
Dallas
"He's trying to grab me!"
Dallas
"What is the matter with you?"
Dallas
"Rape! Stop it!"
Dallas
"He grabbed me! He tried to..."
Dallas
"- Help! Help me! - What?"
Dallas
"He ripped my clothes!"
Dallas
"Somebody, help!"
Dallas
"- Mrs. Ewing, Lucy's not here. She left. - She left?"
Dallas
"She ran out. Poor kid."
Dallas
"I guess Mr. Miller tried to..."
Dallas
"- You know. - No, I don't know."
Dallas
"Well, take advantage of her."
Dallas
"Lucy came running out of Miller's office screaming."
Dallas
"Her blouse was all torn up."
Dallas
"I guess he made a grab for her."
Dallas
"I guess Mr. Miller's in big trouble. He's in the principal's office now."
Dallas
"Thank you."
Dallas
"Mr. Daly, I have been telling you that this is all some terrible mistake."
Dallas
"I wish that's all it were."
Dallas
"Come in."
Dallas
"Mrs. Ewing, this is Mr. Daly, the principal."
Dallas
"Pamela Ewing, Lucy's aunt."
Dallas
"- You've heard what's happened. - Nothing happened, Mrs. Ewing. Nothing."
Dallas
"- You must know that. - Nothing?"
Dallas
"Lucy Ewing comes running out of your office screaming, clothing torn?"
Dallas
"- I'm going to have to call the police. - Don't do that."
Dallas
"I'd like to talk to Lucy first."
Dallas
"Mr. Daly, you know Lucy Ewing. She's done everything to avoid school."
Dallas
"- Sir, I have a family. - So do I."
Dallas
"And this is too serious."
Dallas
"First thing Monday morning, I'll have Lucy here."
Dallas
"I'll assume the responsibility."
Dallas
"- Monday morning? - First thing."
Dallas
"You dug your own grave, Miller."
Dallas
"I hope this lady can pull you out of it."
Dallas
"- So do I, because you sure won't. - No, I won't."
Dallas
"I warned you."
Dallas
"What did he warn you about?"
Dallas
"That Jock Ewing..."
Dallas
"That it would be unwise to give Jock Ewing any bad news..."
Dallas
"...that he had a lot of power."
Dallas
"Mrs. Ewing, if he finds out about this, he won't stop to ask questions."
Dallas
"It's more than my job I'm worried about. I could go to jail or worse."
Dallas
"You brought Lucy back. You asked for my help."
Dallas
"I'm asking for yours."
Dallas
"- J.R.? - Yeah, Bobby?"
Dallas
"- Can I bother you? - Come on in."
Dallas
"Just wondering if maybe you'd do me a little favor."
Dallas
"Well, sure. What can I do?"
Dallas
"Let me in on the secrets of your power of persuasion?"
Dallas
"Well, there's no secret. Just runs in the family."
Dallas
"Look at all the years you've been out persuading while I've been at that desk."
Dallas
"That's just it, J.R., I'm not on the road anymore."
Dallas
"Yeah, I do know that. Surely do."
Dallas
"I wanna tell you how... How you filled Daddy's heart with joy..."
Dallas
"...when you came into the business with me."
Dallas
"That's just it. I'm in the business. I think I have a right to know everything."
Dallas
"Do you?"
Dallas
